Vapour
The spatial edition — for the people who keep things.
Edition 047 of 500 · Debut EP
“I made this for the people who keep things. Who write the lyrics down. Who play a record into the ground and then buy it again on a different colour. There is a letter inside this only you will see. I wanted to give you something you could hold.”
What's inside
Vapour
Five tracks. The cover. A tracklist that reads like weather.
Listen
The whole EP, with the words as they pass. Headphones, ideally.
The album
Vapour · Salt Air · Slow Dissolve · North-Facing Window · Salt Circuit.
The film
A short visual for the title track. Fog, a window, a room going quiet.
From the studio
Photographs from the room it was made in. Mostly grey. Mostly morning.
From the artist
A note, unsigned but for a letter. Opened once, then kept.

From the artist
Vapour was made over one winter in a flat with one window that faced the wrong way. The light only arrived for an hour, around eleven, and most of these songs were written waiting for it.
Streaming is generous and it is also a queue. It gives you everything and then asks you to keep scrolling. I wanted to make one thing that did the opposite — that asked you to stay, that opened slowly, that you could return to and find a little more.
So this is the EP, but it is also the room, and the letter, and the parts I could not fit anywhere else. Over the next six months it keeps giving you things. It is not a file. It is closer to a record on a shelf — yours, and only changing when you come back to it.
Thank you for considering it. That alone means more than the streams ever did.
